• The purpose of the Endowment Fund is to provide long term sustainability for the Association. The fund is able to receive cash gifts, but also gifts of land, stock, life insurance policies, and other financial instruments. Atla’s gift policy outlines the types of gifts accepted. Contributions are invested in a portfolio where the principal remains untouched. All contributions are 100% tax deductible for U.S. taxpayers.

• The purpose of the Scholarships & Grants Annual Fund is to provide regular support for continuing education and diversification of the theological librarianship profession. In recent years the Fund has been used primarily for travel grants for attendance at Atla Annual, which is given to members from North America and throughout the world. The Fund also has been used for leadership institutes and special events focusing on the future of theological libraries. All contributions are 100% tax deductible for U.S. taxpayers.
